Welcome
I qualified as a gym instructor and sports therapist in 1996, and for over thirty years I have been supporting people to move with more ease and live with less pain. Much of my work focuses on pain related to injury, long-held tension, and everyday postural habits that quietly build up over time.
My approach has grown from extensive training and experience across many disciplines, including soft tissue release, yoga, sports massage, aromatherapy, martial arts, Thai massage, life coaching, and gym-based exercise. From this, I’ve developed a fluid, movement-aware way of working that is both grounded and responsive, always guided by what the body is communicating.
At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for the body’s own intelligence. I take time to listen, drawing on my experience and intuition, and to notice where imbalance may be present, whether physical, emotional, or energetic. Each treatment is individual and shaped by what the person needs on that particular day.
Over the past ten years, I have also drawn on my teaching training to share these insights more widely, working in primary and secondary schools, as well as offering small private courses. This teaching reflects the same values as my treatments: awareness, care, and a belief in the body’s capacity to change when it is supported well.
My professional qualifications are:
Diploma in Clinical Sports Therapy IIST
International Professional Aromatherapy Diploma IFPA
Diploma in Yoga Therapy IYT
Certificate in Traditional Thai Massage
Thermo – Auricular Therapy
Diploma in Beauty Therapy CIBT
Mental Health First Aid
First Aid at Work
L2 First Steps in Counselling
L3 Next Steps in Counselling
Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing VTCT
Schwinn Spinning Instructor
Boxacise Instructor
Diploma in Professional Life Coaching CA
Advanced Teaching Certificate in Education
Level 3 Certificate in Assessing
Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance
I am committed to keeping my knowledge and practice up to date, and regularly attend workshops, seminars, and webinars, as well as reading current research and professional articles as part of my Continued Professional Development.
